Yes, I think she did. She pertended like she liked both of them when her true love was Pedro. In my opinion she used John and his support till she was confident enough to try to go after Pedro again. I think it was wrong what she did because she made John think that she loved him. Then they were goign to get married, but Tita called it off. I don't think it was at all fair especially to John.
Oh, I disagree. I think she truly fell in love with John and realized he'd be a good husband. Then she realized she was still passionate about Pedro, and wasn't ready to sacrifice her heart's happiness for the rest of her life. She would have been content with John, but I think she always would have had that "what if" feeling.
